PET FOOD RECALLS
Walk into any pet store and you find hundreds of choices in a variety of price ranges.
How do you decide? DO you know what ingredients to look out for?
SOME Red Flag Ingredients: chicken by-products, animal fat, BHA, poultry by-product meal, menadione sodium bisulfite complex, fish meal preserved with ethoxyquin
We, along with many other breeders have been searching and switching foods for a long time, checking ingredients, talking with breeders, Vets, trying different foods (which is a long process).
We wanted a food with good nutrition, without chemicals and additives that are not good for our doodles, one that all our families could get easily,at a good price, and owned by a private company
Finally we have made our choice and are very pleased with our results. Life Abundance is now our recommendation! We have used it now for the past several months our doodles love it, the puppies are not only getting chubby, with good firm stools but the switch from Mom's nursing to eating this food has been the easiest ever with any food we have tried before. We have even noticed our doodles coats looking healthier.
Normally we don't use our BLOG for this type of information but with all the work we do to produce good healthy labradoodles we hate to see families feeding their pets foods that are not quality because they don't know about the problems with foods on the market. We have struggled with finding a good quality product to rely on, so I know many pet owners have too. I can't imagine the what families that have lost pets due to recalled foods have gone through.
